What?
Setting up a learning environment means that the person in charge of the instruction creates an environment with less disturbing stimuli to support the learning process. As a learner it is important that within the learning environment you are able to keep your attention with the corresponding interest in a task.
How to do this?
One of the goals of the lesson below is that students can measure with a modified device and then express this in a modified size. For students in the third year this is not an easy task. For this reason, the teacher will provide all the materials and accompanying step-by-step plans for support. The materials are briefly discussed in class with the students, after which half of the group goes to another classroom and is supported by an extra teacher. This reduces the number of disturbing stimuli and allows the learner to draw attention to accuracy and the learning process.
Who?
Throughout the entire school career it is necessary to guide learners with attention for the environment and whether or not these are disturbing stimuli.
